I went thru grades 1-8 at SMM. I graduated 8th grade 1969. I plan to attend my 40th reunion in the next month. I know the school is no longer in operation but I feel SMM’s web site is VERY boring. I no longer live in the SMM community but it would really be nice to see some recollection from the past!

The person for which the Mass is being said is never mentioned during Mass. It is printed in the bulletin on Sunday only.
I have heard a lot of concern for this. There are a few places in the Mass where this name could be mentioned.
They used to be prayed for during the petitions.
Isn’t this Mass dedicated to someone and we should as a whole pray for them during the Mass?
I have asked about this in the past and was told that the priest holding mass would say a prayer in the sacristy before mass. I will bring this up at Parish Council this Thursday to see if something can be changed. I also would like it mentioned during mass.

I love the new website. Very easy to find what you are looking for. Thank you to the committee for all the hard work.
